Accommodation

There is a range of accommodation on the CLGTI campus so that everyone can be accommodated on site. The hostels are located in walking-distance to the main building, which hosts the conference rooms, classrooms and other facilities, such as the cafeteria.

The prices of the accommodation varies according to the status of the renter. In other words, the price to rent a room is different for students of CLGTI, for workshop guests and for other persons. Hence, the prices are divided into two categories, one that applies to the students of CLGTI during their residential period and one that corresponds with the prices for workshop participants.

The accommodations cover a variety of prices and encompassed equipment to meet the guests’ individual needs and claims. The rooms for rent also differ in terms of the facilities included, such as bathroom and bedroom. The rooms in the luxurious N02 building (also called executive hostel), for example, include a individual bedroom with a queen-sized bed with mosquito net, individual bathroom, a small living room area including sofas, TV, table, chair and fridge. Moreover, these rooms are cooled by aircon and include beddings and a cleaning service. A room in the Mwembeshi accommodation is of the same standard as the N02 rooms, except that the bathroom and kitchen is shared by two people. In contrast to that, the rooms in N1 and N10/11 are individual bedrooms (with mosquito net) including shared bathroom, kitchen and shared TV room. The rooms from N9, N15, N17 and Luangwa are shared bedrooms with shared facilities, including a TV room and common kitchen (note, for these hostels the guests have to bring their own beddings since these are not included in this price range).

Reserving and renting a room is done via phone. For any further inquiries of the accommodation and the booking of the rooms, the CLGTI staff is more than happy to answer any questions. Self-financed students can contact the housekeeper, the matron and the saviour/cashier.
