As an affiliate of Mulungushi University, the Chalimbana Local Government Training Institute (CLGTI) was part of the 16th Graduation Ceremony of Mulungushi University. The ceremony, held on November 1, 2024 at Mulungushi University in Kapiri Mposhi, saw 47 CLGTI students graduate in Bachelor’s Degree and Postgraduate Diploma programs that are offered in collaboration with Mulungushi University.
The graduating students were drawn from the following Programmes:
(i) Post Graduate Diploma in Local Government Administration
(ii) Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Local Government Finance,
(iii) Bachelor’s Degree in Development Planning & Management, and
(iv) Bachelor’s Degree Public Administration
The Guest of Honor at this Graduation Ceremony was the Republican President Mr. Hakainde Hichilema. In his speech, President Hichilema urged the graduates to excel in their respective fields and meaningfully contribute to the country’s development by applying the acquired knowledge and skills.
The successful graduation is a testament to the fruitful collaboration between Chalimbana Local Government Training Institute and Mulungushi University which has been running since 2016
